The Project started in July 2016 and will be completed by December 2018 under the funding of the EU (HORIZON 2020 programme). MEDI@4SEC will focus on the opportunities, challenges and ethical consideration of social media use for public security in all its facets – the good, the bad and the ugly.
The good includes opportunities for problem solving, fighting crime, enhancing the feeling of public safety and increasing the quality of life.
